Mary Faulkner

Project Manager

Mary Faulkner brings more than two decades of experience in nonprofit leadership, education, communications, and cross-cultural programming. Before joining Cross Cultural Community Services as Project Manager, she served as Chief Impact Officer at In Her Presence, where she led strategic planning, communications, workforce development, English language programs, maternal health initiatives, and community partnerships supporting immigrant women from more than 19 countries. Earlier in her career, Mary managed learning and development projects in the corporate sector and taught English language learners in both the United States and South Korea. She has also designed and facilitated cross-cultural training for healthcare systems, businesses, and nonprofit organizations. Mary holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Idaho and is completing a Master of Arts in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) at the University of Southern Maine.

 

As Project Manager at Cross Cultural Community Services, Mary coordinates initiatives that strengthen organizational effectiveness and expand community impact. She is passionate about building meaningful relationships across cultures, fostering collaboration, and creating systems and programs that help New Mainers and historically marginalized communities access opportunities, build connections, and thrive.
