Introduces core racial terms and concepts. Builds shared language, explores cultural humility, and examines Comfort, Risk, and Danger Zones to foster confidence in discussing race.

Tackling Systems

Explores the historical roots of racism and systemic oppression. Connects past to present-day disparities and introduces strategies for dismantling inequities.

Immigration & Resettlement

Covers immigrant experiences, resettlement challenges, and distinctions between assimilation and acculturation. Emphasizes cultural awareness and system responsiveness to newcomer needs.

Examining Privilege

Examines how racial hierarchies and privilege impact systems. Encourages reflection on social positioning and offers tools to challenge inequity.

Organizational Planning

This session focuses on helping organizations develop actionable strategies to sustain their efforts in promoting equity, diversity, and inclusion. Participants assess their current practices, set goals, and create customized plans to integrate EDI into their policies, culture, and operations on a long-term basis.
